Is the glass on the wet side of the shower treated to prevent water spots?

The "Standard" that is shown online is not. It would be normal tempered glass. We do have two options for a treatment. You can use the Coastal Clarity Kit or we can do a factory applied glass treatment. How long is shipping for the 36x80, GSFD1P36.80O-C ? Also, the description states the support bar is sold separately, however I can't find it in your site. Is there a part number for it as I definitely will need it?

Is the stabilizer bar necessary for a 36 x 80 fixed panel? Does it brace against the opposite wall?

Hello! Great question. This will be kind of an open ended answer.
The stabilizer bars are 100% optional and can be installed at anytime. To give you an idea, these panels are 1" thick once constructed and leave our warehouse. However, any time you only have two points of attachment, there will be some movement on the open end if bumped into or when cleaning (Becoming more prevlent with the larger the overall size is - Just the nature of a two point attachment application). We recommend taking into consideration the use of the bathroom. Guest vs Primary. Adults vs kids. Etc. If you are wanting / Needing this to have the rigidity of an interior wall, we would recommend considering the use of one. Again, they can be installed at anytime.

I'm having a new bathroom installed and I need to source materials. can I take two fixed screen panels and make a corner myself if I confirm measurements with my contractor and order the correct supports?

The corner applications will have pre mitered corners, with proper mounting hardware and installation instructions.
