Can the door swing the other way, to the left?

Yes.  The swing direction of every Gridscape hinged shower door is reversible. The handing can be switched by simply "cartwheeling" the door over 180 degrees.

How wide is the door? And is the door width the same regardless of height and total width options (or does is get smaller as the total width of the panel gets smaller)?

Hi thank you for your question regarding the width of the Gridscape GS2 swing shower door portion of the shower enclosure.  The swing width is approximately 30 in.
